No. Audiobooks are a big part of my work, but I also voice eLearning and corporate training, medical narration, commercials, websites, and video narration. My credits include a book trailer for a novel by a bestselling author, video narration for a YouTube entertainment channel, and voice-of-God announcements for a gala. If your project needs a clear, articulate, and trustworthy voice, I'd be glad to help you bring it to life.
Every narration project is recorded by me, Eleesha Lewis, in my own studio. I'm a Baltimore-based narrator and voice actor with over 20 published audiobooks, including 14 Certified Human Voice titles with Academy Voices. Before founding LGBS Voice Studio, I spent 22 years in federal service, 19 of them as a U.S. Foreign Service Officer. Clear, precise communication has been my job for my entire career.
My narration is 100% human, performed and recorded by me, word by word. I'm a member of the VerifiedHuman Collective, an international community of voice actors, writers, artists, and other creators who publicly declare human authorship of their work. The VerifiedHuman badge on my site reflects that commitment.Separately, I offer an AI voice service built from a professional clone of my own voice, for clients who need fast, high-volume content. Your project will always be voiced by a human unless you request otherwise.
My voice is clear, warm, and grounded, and it adapts to what the material needs: authoritative for nonfiction and training content, playful for children's stories, natural and conversational for commercials and websites. Two things shape how I work. First, a career in diplomacy, where getting every word right mattered, so I research pronunciations and read for meaning, not just sound. Second, a lifetime of singing. I've sung in choirs since I was a child, in the U.S. and overseas, and that training gives me the breath control, diction, and stamina for long-form narration. The best way to judge the fit is to listen to my voice: hear my demos, or contact Eleesha for a custom audition.
Send me a note through my contact page with your project type, word count or script length, and deadline.I'll reply with a quote and, if you'd like, a custom audition from your script or manuscript.Once you approve the quote, we'll sign a written agreement covering the scope of work, timeline, payment terms, and usage rights, so we're both clear on what to expect. Send your final manuscript or script and any pronunciation notes, and I'll take it from there.
